Alexis C Cannizzo Licensed Funeral Director
I was born and raised in upstate New York. As a graduate of Johnstown High School, I continued my education at Hudson Valley Community College receiving an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Mortuary Science.
I have been around the funeral business my entire life. Being able to contribute in our family business is an honor. Watching my Dad care for families during a time when there is a great need for compassion, inspired me to choose this career path and it is a privilege to follow in his footsteps. The reputation he has developed within our community is well earned and I hope to continue to provide that same type of service that he has entrusted in me.
My goal is to help every family that comes into our Funeral Homes during one of the most difficult times of their lives. I feel gratified being able to ease the grief of family members. This profession is not just a career for me it is a passion.
I am currently a member of the New York State Funeral Directors.
I am a free spirit who loves adventures. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, and traveling. I am happiest, however, spending time with my family, significant other, and friends as well as hanging out with my five cats.
