Barbara J. Freese

Barbara J. Freese, age 63, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. Born on August 29, 1958, in Gloversville, NY, she was the daughter to the late Earl and Gloria (VanAvery) Greenfield. Barbara was of the catholic faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed music, singing, dancing, motorcycle riding, collecting jewelry, and housekeeping. She married her beloved husband, Ronald Freese Sr. on November 23, 1974, who survives. In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her children, Ronald Freese Jr. (Jessica), Brian Freese (Cassie), Chris Freese (Kara); brothers, Barry Ostrander Jr., Billy Henderson, Mark Henderson; sisters, Candy Ostrander, Pam LaFountain; grandchildren, Joseph, Hannah, Tyler, John, Jazmine, Brittany, Andrew, Alivia; great grandchildren, Evan, Kendrick, Marley, Chevy; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
