Bernice Clark

August 15, 1934 - January 14, 2022

Bernice Clark, age 87, of Gloversville, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Wells Nursing Home, Johnstown. Born on August 15, 1934, in Northville NY, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Minnie Rosa Wilson. Bernice was employed with the Continental Mills in Gloversville. She was also employed as a home healthcare worker with CHC and worked at the former Espys in Gloversville. Bernice was a member of the Adirondack Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping and playing games. Most importantly, she loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Ron Baird (Yvonne), Rick Baird (April), Tim Baird, Mike Baird; stepson, Tim Clark; daughters, Suzanne MacVean (Dean), Lori Showers (Brian), Sheri Wengenack (George); stepdaughter, Deb Clark; sisters, Ruth Schrader, Rita VanAvery, Pearl Shannon; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Bernice was predeceased by her husband Ross Clark; brothers, George Cola, Doug Wilson, Glen Wilson; sisters, Gladys Wilson, Martha Crowter, Jennie Tanner. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 12:00 PM at the Adirondack Baptist Church, 1431 NY-29, Gloversville, NY, 12078. Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service at the church from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A spring burial will be held at Kings Cemetery, Northville NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bernice’s memory may be made to the Wells Nursing Home, 201 W Madison Ave, Johnstown, NY 12095, or the Adirondack Baptist Church, 1431 NY-29, Gloversville, NY 12078.
