Carolyn L. Caminiti Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carolyn L. Caminiti (Penny), age 75, of Johnstown, NY, passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side. Born on June 19, 1947, in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Evelyn (Angelo) Flatters. Carolyn was employed at the Johnstown Hospital for many years until it's closing. In her spare time, she enjoyed refinishing antique furniture from her home, taking care of her plants, crocheting, and artwork. Carolyn loved animals, dancing, and most importantly spending time with her family. She was always there to help care for others in their time of need. She married her loving husband, Charlie Caminiti Jr., on December 31, 2001. They were happily married for 6 years until his passing on September 14, 2007. Carolyn is survived by her three sons, William Andersen, Thomas Andersen, Michael Andersen (May); brother, Robert Courstoies; sister, Kathleen “Bonnie” Demania (Joe); 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt Carmel, 39 St John St, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY. Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY.
