June 25, 1936 - April 13, 2020

Dorothy M. Hall, 83, of Johnstown, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at her son Douglas’ residence. She was born on June 25, 1936, in Glens Falls, a daughter of the late Girard Donnahie and Margaret Bull Donnahie. Mrs. Hall was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and received her Associate’s Degree from Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She was employed at the former Coleco and later at Wells Nursing Home. Dorothy was of the Episcopalian faith and attended St. John’s Episcopal Church in Johnstown. Mrs. Hall was an avid bowler and was a member of several bowling leagues in both Fulton and Montgomery Counties. She is survived by her four sons William B. Hall, Jr. (Wendy) of Tribes Hill, Gary L. Hall (Suzanne) of Johnstown, Douglas E. Hall of Fonda and Andrew J. Hall of Gloversville; two brothers Fred Donnahie and George Donnahie (Nancy); nine grandchildren Michael Hall (Alison), Kendall Sherwood (Tyler), Patricia Sweet, James Hall, Tyler Hall (Mollee), Baylee Hall (Mackenzie), Nolan Hall, Zachary Hall (Evelyn) and Shelby Adams (Jake); eight great grandchildren Henry Sweet, Grady Sweet, Levi Sweet, Olivia Hall, Valor Hall, Archer Adams, Lilly Anna Adams and Elliot Adams; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Hall was predeceased by her husband William B. Hall, Sr., whom she married on May 2, 1954, and whom passed on February 4, 2020. She also was predeceased by four sisters Alice Kincade, Adelaide Jarvis, Betty Smith and Charlotte Beacher, and two brothers, Bernard Baker, and Hollis Baker. In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Interment will be in Maple Avenue Cemetery, Fultonville, NY, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown. Condolences to the family may be made online by visiting our website at www.agcolefuneralhome.com
