Elaine A. Cole

Elaine A. Cole, age 66, of Johnstown, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at her home, with her loving family by her side. Born on January 28, 1956, in Gloversville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Red and Patricia (Ortell) VanHoesen. She married her loving husband, William Cole on July 14, 1983. They were married for 25 years until his passing on March 26, 2008. Elaine was employed as a caretaker at Lexington for 19 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed riding motorcycles, she rode her Harley until she could no longer ride. She is survived by her son, Ben Cole (Kayla), brothers, Mike (Barb), Art, and Lee Cole; sister, Frances Springer (Rich); grandchildren, Louis, Wyatt, and Ben Jr.; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Elaine is predeceased by her brother, David Cole and sister, Sheila Cole. In keeping with her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.
