Karisa Mae Young, age 24, of Gloversville, NY, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville, NY. Born on January 14, 1998, in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of Peter J. Young Sr. and Toni M. (CoCo) Subik. Karisa was a delicate and petite young lady, with a kind and gentle soul. She graduated from Gloversville High School in 2019. In her spare time, she loved listening to pop music, was a fan of anything Disney, and enjoyed crafts and crafting. She will truly be missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She is survived by her mother, Toni M. Subik; maternal grandmother, Joan CoCo; paternal grandfather, Clayton Young; brothers, Joshua Young, Robert Subik; sisters, Georgianna Subik Blakeslee, Kathryn Young, Rebecca Subik Hilts; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Karisa is predeceased by her father, Peter J. Young Sr., and brother, Peter Young. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY, with Reverend Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, NY.
