Marilyn Ann Testerman

Marilyn Ann Testerman, age 77, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. She was born on August 10, 1941 in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Hladik. She worked for the federal government for over 40 years, retiring as the Records & Mail Management Supervisor at APG. She did a tour in Vietnam for 16 months as a civilian assigned to the U.S. Navy Medical Department. She was involved in Sokol Gymnastics early in her life. Marilyn loved reading, babysitting her grandkids, and taking road trips. Mrs. Testerman is survived by her husband, Harry “Ed” Testerman; son, Jay Dougherty (Christy); two stepsons, Mark Testerman (Sue), Christopher Testerman (Wendy); stepdaughter, Karen Frick (Mike); sister, Renee Manno; brother John Hladik; 9 grandchildren; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, O’tillia Knuffke and Rosie Otruba. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown. Visitation for family and friends will be prior to the service on Saturday, October 6 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Johnstown, immediately following the funeral service.
