Robert W. Holland Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert W. Holland Jr, age 74, of Gloversville, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2022, at St. Johnsville Nursing Home, after a 2 year battle with cancer. Born on July 29, 1947, in Gloversville, NY, he was the son of the late Robert Holland and Shirley Nellis. Robert was a graduate of the Gloversville High School. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. Robert was then employed at N.A. Taylor in Johnstown, NY. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and V.F.W. He married, Marilyn (Beck) Holland on November 30, 1990, who survives. Robert is also survived by his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Helen),; sister, Pat Crankshaw, and sister Donna. In addition to his parents, Robert is predeceased by several other brothers and sisters. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Fern Dale Cemetery, with Reverend Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert’s memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, a nonprofit organization that helps veterans and active-duty service members.
