Travis D. Gallt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Travis David Gallt, age 26, of Gloversville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Born on June 19, 1995, in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of Tracie (Szabo) Rohling and Clarence Gallt. Travis loved life and everyone he met. If he met you, he wanted to be your friend. Travis always aimed to please, especially his grandparents. Travis loved the outdoors, from work to hobbies, it had to be outdoors. He was and always will be an amazing son, brother, friend, and most importantly, Father. Travis was an all-around amazing person that would light up the room. He will be loved and missed by all that knew him and his legacy will forever be lived on by his beloved son, Schylor Jon. He is survived by his mother, Tracie Rohling; stepfather, Chris Rohling; fathers, Clarence Gallt, Gary Valk Jr.; sisters, Michala Dann, Daryn Dann, Bridgia Valk, Delilah Gallt; brothers, Gary Valk III, Zachariah Etherton, Pasquale Gallt; beloved son, Schylor Gallt; stepdaughter, Madelynn Farrington; lifelong partner, Rachael Reyell; Travis’ longest brother at heart and best friend, Johnny Betz; grandparents, Angelina Lucas, Dan Szabo (Ann), Sue Valk, Earl Folts; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins; Travis is predeceased by his grandmother, Penny Folts; grandfathers, Menzo Case and Gary Valk Sr. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00PM at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Travis’ memory may be made to his sons’ Schylor Gallt scholarship fund.
